Gregory Hollenbeck

My Story

I'm currently a doctoral candidate at Grand Canyon University, specializing in psychology with a focus on cognition and instruction. My academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Biola University and a master's degree in psychology from Brandman University (now UMass Global). This diverse academic background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the subject. My research interests include mind-wandering, metacognition, and cognitive effects of technology use. My reason for being interested in research and academics is that I consider myself a lifelong learner. I even enjoy reading about topics outside of my academic discipline,  such as philosophy, sociology, anthropology, history, you name it. My purpose is to help students like you leverage my broad knowledge and reach their academic goals.
