Hey everyone! I'm Nicole, a high school junior in Shanghai, China. I enjoy exploring topics in biology, and linking the knowledge to healthcare issues the world faces today. Recently, I completed a research project in the field of molecular epidemiology of lung cancer, using various biostatistics tools to complete differential gene expression analysis and survival analysis. Through this experience, I've developed a deeper understanding and a further interest in public health research, using statistical tools and logic to answer questions that could potentially have a real-world application in medicine. I've also taken a few online courses to expand my knowledge in this area. Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy ballet, music, and listening to podcasts. I'm always eager to learn new things and cannot wait to assist you on your research journeys!
